Bullets are fired as photons in the ship's frame and travel at c in the lab frame
(with aberrated direction). Asteroids drift sub-luminally and rotate. Your ship's
momentum is integrated relativistically — thrust climbs |v| toward c without ever
crossing it.
The ship-frame view uses the snapshot light-cone for each visible object; the
full Penrose-Terrell rotation of extended bodies is approximated by 1/γ axial
contraction — close enough for combat, not strictly photographic.
